Focus and Key Research Areas

Coastal and Estuarine Research Facility (CERF) is a research division of Newcastle Innovation that draws on expertise from the University to provide an integrated aquatic research centre for coastal NSW. The focus of the CERF is to develop research partnerships between academia, governmental departments and non-government organisations and to promote & facilitate sustainable coastal resource management. Research within the group has particular emphasis on:
